Specialist plays a critical role in the Consumer Lending
department, overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of
vehicle titles, registrations, and liens for consumer loans. This
position requires in-depth knowledge of DMV procedures and
regulations, the ability to handle complex documentation, and the
capacity to guide and mentor less experienced team members. The DMV
Specialist ensures that all DMV-related processes run smoothly and
in compliance with state and federal regulations, contributing to
the overall success of the department. What You Will Do: Process
and Verify DMV Documents: Independently process vehicle titles,
registrations, liens, and other related documentation for consumer
loans, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with
applicable state and federal regulations. Documentation Review:
Thoroughly review all incoming DMV-related documents for
correctness and completeness, identifying and resolving
discrepancies or missing information promptly to prevent delays in
the loan process. Team Collaboration: Serve as a key point of
contact for cross-departmental teams, including branches, loan
contact center, and other internal teams, to ensure seamless
communication and smooth handling of DMV-related inquiries and
transactions. Training and Mentorship: Assist in the training and
development of DMV Representatives and Specialists, sharing
expertise in DMV best practices, system use, and regulatory
updates, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and
improvement. Recordkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and
organized records of all DMV transactions and documents. Ensure
compliance with audit and regulatory requirements, preserving the
integrity and security of all DMV-related data. Workflow
Management: Proactively monitor and manage daily workflow, ensuring
that all DMV tasks are completed within established timeframes.
Address bottlenecks or process inefficiencies to maintain smooth
operations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process
improvements, suggesting changes that will streamline DMV
operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce potential errors.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to
internal policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs)
for all DMV-related transactions, providing timely responses to
internal and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving and Escalation:
Take ownership of complex DMV issues, collaborating with management
when needed to resolve situations or escalate concerns for a timely
resolution. Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making when
handling non-routine cases. Requirements What we are looking for:
3-5 years of experience in DMV processing, consumer lending, or a
related field, with a solid understanding of DMV title, lien, and
registration processes. High school diploma or equivalent required.
An Associate's degree or relevant certification in a related field
(e.g., business administration, nance) is preferred. Expert
Knowledge of DMV Procedures: In-depth knowledge of state-specific
DMV documentation, requirements, and processes. Ability to apply
this knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance in processing loan
documents. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to handle complex
situations, identify discrepancies or errors in documentation, and
propose effective solutions quickly and efficiently. Courtesy and
tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal
contact with customers and others inside and outside the
organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the
purpose of giving and obtaining information or instructions,
updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and
not in-depth discussions. Organizational Skills: Strong attention
to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Communication and
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal
teams, members, and external vendors. Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and
DMV-specific software systems. Comfortable learning and adapting to
new software applications. Team Player: Ability to work
collaboratively with team members and other departments, providing
guidance when needed while maintaining a positive and proactive

Workplace Pay Grade Info : To provide greater transparency to
candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings
regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based
on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar
stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by
multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and
relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed
below. The base pay range for this position is: $27-$33/hour. Perks
