Support students academic and social development in an engaging elementary school setting located in Long Beach, CA. This contracted position offers the opportunity to assist classroom teachers and provide individualized support to students requiring one-on-one attention throughout the current school year. Key Responsibilities: - Aid classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and activities. - Provide dedicated one-on-one support to students with special needs or individualized education plans. - Assist with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment. - Monitor student progress and communicate observations to educators. - Support students with personal care and mobility as needed. Qualifications: - Experience working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school environment. - Ability to deliver personalized assistance to students on a 1:1 basis. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers and staff. - Patience, empathy, and dedication to fostering student success. - Flexibility and reliability to meet the demands of a contracted school-year position.
