Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence in daily activities Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders Target improvements in ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive skills Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, nursing, and physicians to ensure coordinated care Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs to support recovery Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations while delivering high-quality care Qualifications Active California Occupational Therapist license (required) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current CPR/BLS certification SNF experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Education Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Knowledge & Skills Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation and treatment planning Clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision making Strong documentation and charting abilities Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff Knowledge of ADLs, mobility training, and cognitive interventions Familiarity with SNF regulatory and compliance requirements Benefits Supportive team environment where your expertise is valued and collaboration is encouraged Flexible work options — choose a 13-week full-time assignment or PRN shifts to fit your life Opportunity to gain or expand SNF experience and make a meaningful impact on residents' recovery Potential for assignment extension for strong performers Work in a vibrant Los Angeles location with plenty to do on your time off Collaborative interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, nursing, and physicians Meaningful patient interaction and the chance to help residents regain independence Flexible scheduling options and opportunities for ongoing shifts Apply Now Ready to start your next adventure as a Occupational Therapist - SNF?
