Summary:

A fast-growing, multi-location retail organization is seeking a Vice President, Information Technology & Retail Systems to lead enterprise-wide technology strategy. This executive will oversee all IT and Information Systems functions, with a strong emphasis on retail system integration, digital transformation, and AI-driven innovation. The VP will drive the evolution of infrastructure, retail platforms (POS, ERP, WMS, CRM), and customer-facing technologies to enable scalable growth, operational efficiency, and a seamless omnichannel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  Develop and lead the company's IT & IS strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
  
  
• 
  Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, including cloud migration, automation, and AI integration to improve scalability, efficiency, and decision-making.
  
  
• 
  Lead and evolve the technology ecosystem across all retail and corporate locations, including POS platforms, ERP systems, WMS, and CRM solutions.
  
  
• 
  Design and implement AI-powered tools such as predictive analytics, intelligent chatbots, and automated checkout to enhance operational performance and customer engagement.
  
  
• 
  Oversee IT infrastructure (cloud, networks, data centers), ensuring robust, scalable, and secure systems across retail and back-office environments.
  
  
• 
  Strengthen cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and other industry regulations.
  
  
• 
  Build and mentor high-performing IT & IS teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  
  
• 
  Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to support business initiatives through integrated technology solutions.
  
  
• 
  Enhance IT service management (ITSM), optimizing system uptime, support capabilities, and proactive maintenance programs.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate and implement third-party technology vendors and partners to drive system performance, security, and cost savings.
  
  
• 
  Ensure business continuity through effective disaster recovery planning and risk mitigation strategies.
  
  
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    
    
  • 
    15+ years of IT and IS leadership, including digital transformation, enterprise systems, and infrastructure management within a retail environment.
    
    
  • 
    Proven track record overseeing IT in multi-site retail operations and managing omnichannel retail systems (POS, ERP, WMS, CRM).
    
    
  • 
    Hands-on experience integrating AI and emerging technologies into retail operations.
    
    
  • 
    Deep knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA).
    
    
  • 
    Expertise in cloud computing, network security, infrastructure scaling, and vendor management.
    
    
  • 
    Strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    
    
  • 
    Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred due to international business operations.
    
    
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar strongly preferred.
    
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is strongly preferred, facilitating collaboration with diverse stakeholders and international partners.
