Job Description:
A company is looking for an Interpreter to provide language
interpretation services between patients, families, and healthcare
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bilingual interpretation of patient care needs to ensure
understanding among patients, families, and healthcare team
members
Maintain accurate documentation of interpretation activities and
participate in educational programs to enhance skills
Refer psychosocial issues to appropriate departments and assist
with translation of documents as needed
Required Qualifications
Fluency in English and at least one foreign language
Experience in medical interpretation or a related field
Knowledge of national standards of practice and ethics for
interpretation
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
