systems, and much more. We are looking for a Soldering Technician
to join our team. You will play a crucial role is supporting our
production line, and ensuring that we deliver world-class
space-grade radio hardware to our customers. You will work with our
engineering team to ensure that our products are built to design
and adheres to our quality standards. Responsibilities - Inspect,
solder, assemble, and rework PCBAs and other electronic components
(e.g. cable harnesses) as per industry standards (IPC 7711, IPC
610, IPC 620, J-STD-001) - Support testing of electronic and
electromechanical systems - Provide feedback on technical
procedures and drawings - Review tasks for quality and conformance
to documented standards Required Qualifications - High school
diploma or GED with: - Some documented application of technical
skills outside of the classroom (examples: extracurricular project
teams, personal projects, internships, etc) - Associate's Degree,
Trade School certification, or equivalent, or 3 years of experience
in a professional technical role that includes prototyping and
development - Familiarity with basic electronics lab equipment such
as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, microscopes, spectrum
analyzers, etc - Proficiency with soldering (wire
splicing/termination, through hole components) and surface mount
(SMT) components (installing, reworking), including working under a
microscope - Ability to read and understand technical
documentation, such as electrical schematics, datasheets, and
mechanical drawings - Experience with quality control, inspection,
and/or testing of products - Experience with IPC standards - Basic
electrical understanding and understanding of fundamental
electrical engineering concepts Preferred Qualifications - Strong
understanding of circuit boards, processors, ICs, electronic
equipment, and computer hardware/software, including applications
and basic programming of components - Expertise in documenting and
implementing complex and difficult electrical rework - Experience
with electrical CAD tools such as Altium - Practical understanding
of how different engineering disciplines interact with one another
(e.g. Hardware, Mechanical, Firmware, and Software) - Experience
with automated test systems and qualification testing for aerospace
products - Certification to IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 (Space and
Military Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum), and IPC
CID/CID - US Person status to support export controlled data
