TITLE Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Residential Group Homes
(ARF) ORGANIZATION ETTA (non-profit) EXPERIENCE Some professional
or personal experience supporting individuals with special needs is
beneficial. (Paid Training provided) LOCATION North Hollywood /
Valley Village / Sherman Oaks EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full Time Part Time

Starting at $20 per hour BENEFITS Benefits buy-in package available
for employees who work 30 hours or more per week Qualifications
Some personal or professional experience supporting individuals
with special needs 21 years of age Have an insured vehicle Have a
valid driver's license (for a minimum of three years), clean
driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance coverage (with your
name listed as an authorized driver) Willingness to transport your
client (1:1) using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement
provided) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions a plus (not required).

ETTA's Residential Group Homes, you will assist adults with
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to Live More
Independent & Enriching Lives Interested in Joining ETTA's
Residential Group Homes? Please confirm the following: The commute
to North Hollywood / Valley Village / Sherman Oaks would be
acceptable to you; The starting rate of pay - $20.00 per hours - is
within your range; Your availability matches at least one of the
schedules (send email to request list of current openings); In
addition to the daily routines with your client (teaching
independent living, life skills coaching, marketing, doctor
appointments, outdoor activities, fun outings, etc.), tasks may
include meal preparation, making the bed, and assisting your client
and others with some housekeeping; Please be aware that Group Homes
staff may need to perform some basic "hygiene tasks" (including
assisting with toileting) and this would be acceptable to you. All
staff (male and female) must be okay with assisting all clients
(male and female). The job description includes the following
specification: "Experience with behaviors preferred (not required).
Tasks include assisting both male and female clients with personal
hygiene (which can include toileting)." [This is not a caregiving
position; it is for direct support professionals / support staff.]
